FAQ
Smart Wi-Fi: Common Questions
Do I need special hardware?
A MikroTik router running RouterOS. The console generates a configuration script for it that sets up the hotspot, RADIUS authentication and accounting, the walled garden and a heartbeat. Other RADIUS gateways are planned.
What happens if the internet link drops?
The router stops sending heartbeats and the console marks it offline, so you know which site to check. When the link is back, it shows online again.
Can I manage many sites from one account?
Yes. Every hotspot, router and network is managed from one cloud console, and partners can manage their own venues with their own logins.
